PS2 Madden NFL 2006

5 stars (Madden Excels Yet Again) - Madden has improved upon its already top-ranked video football game product in a multitude of ways to ease gameplay and improve the playing experience. The new passing cone, while tricky to master, provides a new level of strategy for experts and novices alike. I heartily reccomend this excellent time spending game and can only hope that others derive as much enjoyment from this game as I do. 4 stars (Madden just got a lot better) - Wow, I am deeply impressed with the new QB vision mode. It makes it so your QB cant roll 10 yards back and just heave a cannon to the end of the field when your on your 40. You have to lock on your vision control onto the player and then you can throw an accurate pass. The only bad thing about it is that you get rushed too soon. I think they should have the defense come in a second later because of this new change cause it takes time to look off the defenders. Another new addition is the NFL Superstar mode where you can take the life of an NFL QB, take an IQ test to decide where you will be drafted, answer interviews and play cameos in movies. Beyond this its basically just like playing a season. They didnt put very much time into that new aspect. Other than this it is just another episode of the Madden series. Which is good because i'm hooked on it. Good to see Madden improved upon the dreadful 2005 game. Go out and buy it but you might want to rent it first because not everyone likes it 4 stars (comparsion to other games) - Madden 2006 is by far the best football game yet to be released. The new features blow the old versions out of the water. The game is now more realistic and fun with the addition of QB passer vision, and the NFL superstar mode. The ability of being able to sprint with the QB behind the line of scrimmage now is now a feature making the game run more smoothly as well. 2 stars (Oh sigh. We want to like it, we really did.) - You'd think there'd be a wonderful program that did it all for the Mac ebay seller. One that helped you list auctions, deal with customers, manage feedback and fees and backend accounting. Oh wait. there was one. It was called A.I.D. and it was lovely. And ebay gave all the companies that were trying to develop such applications such a hardtime they couldn't keep up. And they stopped making it. Hence, very few programs attempt to become Mac programs for sellers, the total package that mac sellers need. The two big contenders are Isale and Garagesale. Both have the looks allowing you to customise templates and offer rich text format. Both offer their own perks, including integration with iphoto, dashboard widgets and the like. But Both stop short of getting your auction on Ebay. Sure Isale says you can track feedback and the like, what they mean is clicking a radiobox to say you've left feedback (GarageSale does the same). Both Isale and Garage Sale offer trial versions of their products. I used both for the allowed - three auctions (each). And on the last auction , i had a problem. I e-mailed Isale, twice. NO RESPONSE. So i tried GarageSale. Not only did they respond the next day, GarageSale has a yahoo group where software users can discuss their issues, the group is moderated by the lead programmer. When it came down to it, GarageSale Vs. Isale, GarageSale won out. Sure, it's a little less "pretty" than Isale. But for $15 less and a running support group (still waiting for that Isale to return my e-mail from last month). I knew which company i wanted to have my money. Hopefully GarageSale or another clever company will find a way to integrate all that post-auction/backend stuff that neither company seems to address... 5 stars (bomb-digity!!!!!!!!!) - this game rocks your football playin socks!!!!!!i havent seen a foot ball game this good since last years espn 2k5 super star mode is awsome and the new cone feature is ok....its hard to get used to but you can turn it off if your to of a sissy to play a challenging game so get this game now!!!!!wat are you doing go buy it!!!!! 1 stars (its NOT in the game! Playoff format still incorrect.) - I agree with the other reviewers saying that this game cheats just to keep the game close. However what irks me the most is that this game can't even get the correct playoff matchups in the post season. It is apparant that this game developers don't know a thing about football, are lazy have, or a poor QA department or all of the above. I have emailed EA on this issue for Madden 2003, but they are so arrogant they ignored my bug find so its pretty clear that they never fixed the bug and it appears in 2006 as well. They claim "if its in the game", but apparantly its not. See below: I am the Dolphins and I had the top seed in the AFC. And here are the final regular season seedings for the AFC 1. GameCube Donkey Konga 2 w-Bongos

5 stars (This is an AWSOME game!!) - This game is great!!!!! I recomend this game to any parent who is buying a gamecube for their kids this holiday season. The game comes with a set of bongos. On the bongos there is of coarse a right and left bongo and suprisingly also a clap sensor. This game is also excellent in teaching your kids how to play the bongos in a way. This game is REALLY fun. I recomend it for children over the age of 6 or 7. 4 stars (not bad, could be even better) - This game is not bad. you beat LEFT, RIGHT, BOTH, CLAP according to the music notes that scroll across the screen. however, for some songs, the beat of the song doesn't match that of the appearing note, even for the simple level. on the difficult level, the notes come out just too fast and you can't even match that to the tempo, not to mention you have to match the LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP. can you do 5 or 6 LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP within 2, 3 seconds without mistake? to me, maybe that's possible if the notes is memorized... but is this a game about memorization? also, this game could improve by setting a mode that a "star" comes out instead of the LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP, and with the star you can do LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP and it still count as a "match". that way, it can be simpler and it can work like the taiko drum master on ps2. 4 stars (Simple, yet surprisingly fun.) - I was hesitant to pick this game, since I had played it just a bit before. I bought the Donkey Konga 2 pack, with the bongos. I played it, and loved it. The soundtrack isn't the best (from what I hear, Donkey Konga has a better one), but some of the songs on it are actually quite good. There should be a introduction to the game though, to teach users which color equals what button. I've had a blast with this game, and am still trying to beat some of the tougher Gorilla remixes. I'd recommend this to anyone who has some resemblence of a beat. ...

Halo 2

5 stars (good) - Halo 2 is the sequel to the best selling xbox game Halo, which sold over 4million copies with unbeliveable graphics, gameplay, sound and a stoyline that left you in suspence wanting to know what will happen next. Halo 2 offers unbelivble graphics and sound, but lacks alittle on the stroyline and gameplay that made Halo so great. You do swich between the Master Cheif and a Covenant Elite durring the gameplay, but the storyline goes nowhere new. You fight on a ship in space in the first level (sound familer) but then you go and crash land on Earth this time and not on Halo. But when you leave Earth, you go and fight on another Halo world. (sound familer) and then you go and get the index(sound familer) and then go to the control center to stop it from being activated (sound familer). There is nothing new in the storyline for Halo 2 , its all the same, Halo2 is mainly an expansion for Halo1. 4 stars ( Halo 2 lacks in Campaign and Storyline) - With the introduction of Xbox live and the online play that it offers, one game stands above the rest, Halo 2 . Multiplayer on Halo 2 is a completely mind-blowing experience. It is possible to play anything from capture the flag to a completely custom game and still have it be entertaining for hours, days, or even months on end. The area of online play is where Halo 2 far surpasses the original Halo. Halo could be played online, but it was no where near as extensive as it is today, and as widely played. Halo 2 offers many new weapons: Battle Rifle, fires a three round burst with 2x zoom; the M6C pistol, a major downgrade from the original with the loss of its zoom and power; Beam Rifle, the Covenant's version of a sniper rifle. Not to mention the Plasma Sword, a weapon that can kill in one swing, which some view as a highly controversial weapon (mainly the unexperienced gamers). 5 stars (Good Game) - Madden is a great game with incredible graphics. QB precision makes game much more interesting. Great with friends. 4 stars (Football, The Madden Way) - There is arguably no doubt about it when it comes to EA Sports. They have no doubt about it controlled the sports playing market. Whether it is baseball, golf with Tiger Woods, or football, they have kept the ball rolling for years at a time. There is no doubt about the Madden football series. Not only has it maintained being a staple, it has been one of the very few sports games that has remained a constant for years around. The game series has gotten better and better, and kept rolling with the tides since its late 80's PC days. Now it has kept the ball rolling for Gamecube owners alike. Madden NFL 2006 for the Nintendo Gamecube, is one of the very few hottest sports games out right now. The game really goes all out with so many classic plays in football, as you play every team in the NFL lineup like the New York Giants, or the Washington Redskins. The graphics in this game have improved over the last couple of them for the Gamecube in the players and the field, and the control also has gained a little ground. Especially in difficult gameplays. While there really isn't much of a challenge when you're playing by yourself, it really takes a whole lot of fun if you're against somebody else. The way those play by plays are also called quite smoothly, and followed very easily. Arguably, Madden fans will love this game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Madden NFL 2006 does show that the football series still has a lot of stayingpower. Considering this might be the last one for the Gamecube, and Nintendo is setting those eyes on their upcoming revolution game system. Still, this is truly a must buy for sports gamers alike. Karaoke Revolution Volume 3

5 stars (A definate hit!) - After not being able to find this in any store, we ordered online and received it in a few days, just in time to take on vacation. My 13 & 14 year-olds played it every day once we came in from the beach, and kept them from bickering as they usually do when inside in the same room (and kept my sanity as well!) They even had mom trying it, after sending them out on the balcony so they couldn't hear me! Sleepovers also now have an activity to keep them busy for hours, along with the DDR. Looking forward to the next one~ PS-it is not obvious that you need to puchase a separate microphone or headset to play this game. (We prefer the microphone). Get 2 if you have more than one child! 5 stars (Not just for kids...) - We got the game for our kids and their friends to play but it turned into a duet showdown between the adults!
