5 stars (Magical...and advanced!!) - This book is not for everyone...it is very advanced even though there are reviews that say it's dull and repetitive...don't read with the mind...listen with the being! He is a great spiritual teacher.. One of the very best. I have read many spiritual books and feel that I'm half way there...I totally understood the book from beginning to end. It's very simple and clear...so effective..it is my bible. But don't get confused...Eckart Tolle is telling you all the things you already know, but your mind refuses to accept! Remember, you are NOT your mind, you never were. I'd like to recommend a wonderful bit of writing from Ken Wilber entitled 'From here to infinity in 3 pages...' I think that's the title. He really is advanced..very technical, but he explains also about being! Well done to a brilliant writer. He is not talking from the ego, but from his being...to your being...and it's real, when you let it be. Don't try to understand it, LIVE IT! 5 stars (Transformative Audio-Book) - I listened to the audio version of this book over a one week period, mostly as I was driving around. It had a profound effect on my life. I have practiced and taught meditation for many years, and a few times at retreats I have entered what are called ecstatic spiritual states. Listening to this recording brought me back to those states each time. If they were written the words he is speaking might or might not have that power. I have never read the typed version, so I don't know if it is the writing itself. But I cannot justify removing even one star from my rating of this item. There is simply nothing to fault it for when it delivers more than what one reasonably expects to get out of a book. The book will give you an experience of what he is talking about. Behind the Wheel Chinese Mandarin - Level 1- Learn to Speak Mandarin Chinese Quickly and Easily- 8

5 stars (Exceptionally Excellent) - I have purchased and successfully used Behind the Wheel Chinese/Mandarin. It blows me away that a person buying a car course in Chinese would complain about having a written text, Pinyin version or otherwise. Any true scholar of Chinese will tell you that learning to speak the language correctly is the key. Written Chinese is a whole new ball of wax and can actually detract from the learning experience for speaking purposes at least. Imagine trying to read Chinese while driving. Give me a break. For that reason, Behind the Wheel Chinese is simple, straightforward, easy to understand, easy to use. The course has two excellent native Mandarin speakers, a male and a female and an American instructor without an accent who explains everything. Both voices repeat twice so that you can duplicate the difficult and challenging sounds of Mandarin which uses different 'tones' to convey meaning. You learn all of this stuff in the comfort of your own car without having to look up or read anything. If you really want to learn to speak Mandarin, I recommend you go out and buy this course immediately. After you have learned to speak Mandarin at a conversational level from the course like I have, then go out and learn to write it if you will. Not me. I'm thrilled enough just to be able to speak and understand Mandarin at a normal conversational level. 2 stars (Almost but not quite) - There is no written version of the words and phrases on the CD's. A Pinyin version would make this set exceptional, and accompanying Chinese characters would make it even more useful. As is, this version depends solely on memorizing sounds and their associated meaning. Furthermore, similar sounds cannot be compared via their written counterpart. A lot of good work and design wasted for lack of "blueprints." Without additional instructional materials, even taking notes is all but impossible, for there is no way to associate the sounds on the CD's with any...

5 stars (Excellent Organization and Method) - In looking at some of the reviews on this page I have to ask myself if I ordered the same course as these people. This review is for Behind the Wheel French 8 CDs by Language Dynamics. Lest you be swayed by the panic reviews that state that there isn't enough time to repeat or that the months of the year or the days shouldn't be presented in this order .... blah, blah, blah. Here are my objective, unbiased and clear opinions: First of all, the course is great. Easy to use and I mean E A S Y. This is not the first Language Dynamics course I have used, nor will it be my last. In my opinion the method used is beyond reproach and is far superior to anything out there that I have yet experienced. Celine has a marvellous and clear voice. Mark sounds confident and knowledgeable. Together they form an instructional 'team' dedicated to teaching you how to speak French. One is armed with native knowledge and native accent of the French language. The other, teaching experience and understanding of learning French as a native speaker of English. This rare and invaluable combination provides you, the learner, with a double insight. Celine's native accent and fluency. Mark's teaching experience and understanding of the French language. I understand from the website that Mark was even rated as an EXCELLENT instructor by his students at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Wow. Nice credentials. Celine on the other hand is fresh, clear, concise, and her voice and accent are easy to imitate. The organization and method involved are superb. Nowhere have I found a source that has taught me so much French in so little time. How do they do it? The system is actually quite organized. More traditional minds may view it as 'chaotic' because they are perhaps secretly seeking that grammatical 'morass' that constitutes most foreign language learning approaches.
