Gamecube - Fire Emblem- Path of Radiance

5 stars (Anyone who hates this game, hasn't played it.) - This game rocks!!! There are so many awesome things, but lets start with characters. There are like 30+ different characters you can earn and unlock. One cool thing is that each character joining is different. Some only join if Ike (the main character) talks to them, some only join if you have someone of the same type to talk to them (mage, archer, knight, etc), or, some just join you after the chapter (level). Each character is different. Some have really good armor, others have awesome attack power some can't be hit, others land critical strikes 70% of the time, etc. In "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones." you got certain talismans that could upgrade characters but by the end you'd only have half your group upgraded. Not here. This time they evolve right after level 20. The graphics are b-e-au-tiful. The characters are very detailed. Every wrinkle, every frown, every scar is shown. As my mom said "oh my gosh... that sky is so beautiful. *gasp* wow" So yea... i guess the enviornmental graphics are pretty good too. The map designs are very unique and interesting. A couple of fields are wide open, no hiding, no cover, just an all out dog fight. Some maps have rooms or rocks a character can hide in or by. Other maps are very complex and have narrow paths, many obsticals and few doorways. (Perfect for rangers, not so good for knights...) Last thing is the story. Now, i can't give an accurate telling of this story, due to the fact that i'm approximatly only half-way through it. But so far Ike joins his father's buisness- being a mercenary. So Ike and about 5 other mercenaries set off to random spots and assist thoughs who call. Later Ike's father meets up with a mysterious black knight who talks to him as if he knows him. Ike's father does know him, but won't tell us who it is. Also, later in the story, it appears another character was hiding in the woods while Ike's father battled the Black knight. These events ...

Fire Emblem

4 stars (Answer to that kid's question.) - I just want to answer that kid's question, "Where are Roy and Marth?" I thought the same thing when I got Fire Emblem . The Fire Emblem series is not anything new in Japan. In the US, we are just getting used to it. This game was actually previously released in Japan under a different title, which I cannot type out since it is in Japanese. The orginal Fire Emblem game released in Japan some years ago stars Roy and Marth. Fire Emblem for GBA in the US is a prequel to that, which stars Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn. Eliwood is the father of Roy. The whole story of the Fire Emblem is actually quite intriging... If you really want to know more about it, look up " Fire Emblem " on Wikipedia.com There were actually several Fire Emblem games released in Japan, much more than the three in the US. Now that I answered that question, I feel Fire Emblem is a great game. I will leave it at that, since the other reviewers have mostly said what I wanted to say. It's worth buying for GBA,... though I wish I had more free time to play it! 4 stars (Reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic) - This game is overrated. It is WAY too short, I mean, what's with the one battle per chapter? And once one of your men die, they never come back. NEVER! If You want a good and addictive stratagy/RPG play Heroes OMAM on the PC. 5 stars (Where are marth and roy!!!) - someone answer my question: where are marth and roy!!!! The only reason I considered buying this is cause marth and roy looked cool in super smash bros. melee. so someone answer me please. ...

GBA Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones

5 stars (Great game for inexperienced gamers) - I think this is a great game.Even for those with slow reflexes.I haven't bought the first one for two reasons:1 becase there were no images:2 because the other one wasn't as old. This is a good game for those who like stragety-based games like me.It's not too violent and it's not bloody. If you like this game then you'll probabaly like this game called runescape. You find it on runescape.com.Anyway,back to the game topic. There is a lot of different warriors. They can go from Pegasus Knights to Wyvern Knights. There's even a type of magic weilder that can summon warriors. But the warriors it summon's are really weak.BUT DO NOT THROW AWAY THE ISTRUCTION BOOKLET!It contains some useful information that you'd usally find in a guide. But if you get the guide, you can throw the booklet away. 5 stars (The best game series ever to exist!!!) - i advise evereyone to BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you do you will see why i say this.I assure you this will be the best game you have ever played!!!!!!!!!!!! ps.even though i'm a kid you should still listen!-Dustin the Wyvern Lord 5 stars (Fire Emblem Sacred Stones) - This game is better than all of the reviews that I've read say. It is a must-have. I liked Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, but this game puts a new definition on the phrase RPG - no, not rocket propelled grenade. It has a perfect blend of difficulty and fun, so that the game isn't too easy just to make it more fun, nor is it too hard to be fun. It's just perfect. This game is just amazing - if you liked Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, you have got to get this game. ...
