3 stars (good design support book) - i found the book to be a good support when approaching a design. it lays out a series of axioms which help the designer to look at various design stratagies at the initial design stages. 5 stars (With absolute certitude a future "classic" design book) - If you want to make some money, I recommend you buy a couple copies of this book now and put them away for 10 years. With absolute certitude the "Universal Patterns of Design" (UPOD) will be a future "classic" design book. There are very few books that fit this category, but this will be one. The author's have done an absolutely stunning job of condensing the patterns format in codifying 210 design principles which human beings need to relate to products and works of art. This book rivals ANY other design work I have ever read. Absolutely highest recommendation. 5 stars (Great Introduction to important themes) - This book is a great introduction to many themes relevant to all form of design. Many references are given for anyone wishing to further develop their understanding of the theme discussed. ...

5 stars (Great Method) - I am enjoying both the book and the 8 CDs found in this course. Very effective method! Really gets you speaking Spanish quickly and without the hassle. Book is great too. Easy to read, follows the CDs and has a word for word tapescript at the back. Biggest Plus: Easy and Fast 4 stars (Conversational Spanish In Nothing Flat (Frobose)) - Easy to use -- have found a couple of errors in English-to-Spanish words, but no big deal. It is somewhat difficult to use the book in conjunction w/ the recording, because the book has no real format. Took me a while to realize the "almost verbatim" words on the tape are where an index usually is. Otherwise -- pretty decent method of learning to converse! 5 stars (My Personal Experience with Conversational Spanish in Nothing Flat) - In my opinion, no "single" language tool (a book for example) will make you completely proficient in a particular language. The key is to sellect various well crafted tools with different approaches. This gives you a more well-rounded view of your subject. Conversational Spanish in Nothing Flat will not by itself make you fluent but it adds "an important piece" to your developing knowledge and it does this very well by touching all bases and giving you lots of fun quizzes where new things are introduced and earlier lessons are reinforced again again. ...

5 stars (Lifesaver) - This book came during my summer vacation when my motivation to read was quite low........I read it in one sitting and got so many ideas for my work with language impaired elementary school students. It is timely and appropriate for all age levels. Many educators are looking for research based best practices and this is a great reference! 5 stars (Bringing Words to Life in the classroom!) - Being a teacher, I found "Bringing Words To Life" very helpful. I've gotten so many good ideas to bring to the classroom. Today, we have so many children who sit in front of the television or are focused on video games that they don't have enough real life experience to relate to vocabulary. Having necessary vocabulary skills is very important in reading comprehension. If a child doesn't understand what they're reading then they won't be able to comprehend the story. Reading the story has given my not only ideas to enhance vocabulary but it's given me the inspiration to be creative. I would suggest any teacher read this book to become inspired! 4 stars (Bringing Words to Life) - Bringing Words to Life: Robust Vocabulary Instruction is a good book to use for resource of ways to teach vocabulary. I found Chapter 4: Developing Vocabulary in the Earliest Grades to be the most helpful for finding ideas on how to teach vocabulary to my reading groups. All though, at times I did think some of the chapters were quite lengthy and even sometimes hard to understand. I will be using this book for ideas in the future. ...

The Cosmo Kama Sutra - 77 Mind-Blowing Sex Positions

5 stars (Good Drawings, Modernized Text) - I first went and looked at the Kama Sutra in the free on-line version at books-on-line.com. The price was certainly right. But it was the original, ancient text, and somewhat hard to follow. Damn good reading, but sometimes hard to imagine just what they were talking about. Now comes this edition, very reasonably priced which takes the positions and illustrates them with drawings. It's a lot easier to understand. I guess that I'm just a bit too simple minded. A lot of these look pretty interesting, but some of them (Face-to-Face Fandango, page 65) looks like it would hurt. The book is put out by Cosmopolitan, so it's oriented to the female side. Each position has a 'Why You'll Love It.' A little bit of 'Why He'll Love It' wouldn't hurt. After all this is a two person sport. 4 stars (The Cosmo Kama Sutra) - The pictures are great and it is really fun. Some of the poses I found were some we had just done naturally. All in all I recommend the book. 4 stars (Cosmo always good!!) - Great book!! This book put back the blazing fire in my relationship. 1 stars (Five Minutes to Orgasm Every Time You Make Love - etc) - It seemed that it took a long time to get to the point - it drug out - maybe to make the book longer. The information was stated in a what I feel was a vulgar way to say things and there is no evidence of any morality whatso ever. As soon as I finished it it went into the waste basket. 5 stars (Useful Book with a Contemporary Viewpoint) - What I liked best about this book is that it treats women as if their bodies will react in predictable ways if the right buttons are pushed, and the author doesn't leave pushing the correct buttons solely up to the man. Why indeed, are women so varied in plumbing and psychology that many have dificulty achieving orgasm at all and yet almost all men achieve orgasm quite easily (at least while young)? Answer - they are NOT! Women are entitled to achieve orgasms just like men. You don't have to feel self-conscious. Just learn to face sex without fear and with a new measure of confidence you can learn with this book. 4 stars (Excellent Book ) - This can be a real challenge for some women, and also for some men who love women. In that respect, I think this book is a very good basic manual on the subject of orgasm and satisfaction, allowing both men and women to gain more of a grasp on the subject of female orgasm. There are some other books which are also excellent, most obviously being Tom Leonardi's "SECRETS OF SENSUAL LOVEMAKING" which provides a very masculine step-by-step plan or "system" for bringing a woman to what the author calls The Ultimate Orgasm, which involves the g-spot and the controversial mystical Female Ejaculating Orgasm. Contrast that with 5 MINUTES TO ORGASM EVERY TIME's guidance toward the Clitoral variety. With the help of Leonardi's book and a caring man, I have come to be a great enjoyer of Both now. Then there are some videos or DVDs wich are excellent for both men and women who enjoy watching a demonstration of techniques in act...
