If your a home or business user looking for a quick, affordable and VERY FRIENDLY product...go with Xandros. Xandros has made the specific effort of trying to be just like Windows XP using the Linux kernel. It succeeds! If you want an easy, simple to use, full featured experience try Xandros 3.0 Business Edition. The business edition does supply you with Star Office 7 (the Linux/open source version of Microsoft's Office 2003)and CodeWeaver's CrossOver Office (a program that allows you to run many Windows programs in a Linux environment). You can also purchase these separately. CodeWeaver will be releasing version 5 in September and version 6 in December. I would wait and buy version 6, it is going to knock your socks off with rich features and compatibility!!! To sum it all up and keep this review short, simple and sweet - Xandros Business Desktop 3 is an excellent Linux distro to learn on, it is extremely easy to use, learn and install. Medical Surgical Nursing- Assessment and Management of Clinical Problems

5 stars (Excellent Medical-Surgical Resource for Nurses) - It took me almost two months to deeply appreciate this book. I must admit that I disliked the book initially, much like several of the other reviewers listed here. However, after one of my classmates in our Nursing Refresher Course raved about the book's nursing care plans, I took a deeper look at the material and was thrilled by the comprehensiveness and timeliness of the information presented. For example, the chapter on Alzheimer's disease and dementia contained information about diagnostic tests that is often only found in neurology textbooks intended for physicians. When I worked for a neurologist, the only resources I had for very specific diagnostic studies were the Mayo Clinic's diagnostic studies manual and the physician's neurology textbooks, some of which were several years old. Overall, I believe this book serves as an excellent resource for pathophysiology, diagnostic studies, and nursing care plans. The tables and illustrations are beautiful, user friendly, and highly informative. Each chapter is organized according to the nursing process, which focuses on critical thinking and problem solving. Don't delay in adding this textbook to your nursing library. This textbook is a great resource for nurses working in hospitals, doctors offices, clinics, wound care, patient education, and public health nursing. There is also an excellent section in the chapter on emergency care situations that covers agents of bioterrorism, which is very useful to nurses working in trauma centers and the military. 2 stars (and thus the nursing students speak. . . . ) - I just graduated from the second largest nursing school in Texas and we used this textbook for two semesters, (the school has a contract to use only Mosby textbooks). 5 stars (THE exam guide) - This book is not written in standard exam cram style. It gives you pretty deep information on different Java language aspects with small test on the end. You will need some programming background (may I recomend Thinking in Java by Bruce Eckel) to gain full advantage of this book. I had pretty good experience in VB.NET and C#.NET and this book enabled me to succesfully pass certification by reading it only once. 5 stars (Sun Certified Programmer Review) - All the preparation required to pass the Sun Certified Programmer Exam 310-035(Java 1.4) is contained in the book Java 2 Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates. This book is excellent!!! If you follow the books recommendations, you will be fully prepared for the exam and the types of questions that will be asked. I liked the two-minute drill which summarized the chapter's key points. The self-tests(after each chapter) and the practice exams (on the CD that comes with the book) really get you ready for the types of questions(tricky) you can expect on the exam. There are quite a few similar type books on the market but they do not have either the clarity or focus of this book. It is all you really need to pass the exam. A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide

4 stars (Solid Info, Good Book) - This is a good book with easy-to-follow chapters and the practice exams on the CD provide a great review. That said, do not expect the book or the practice exams to cover everything you may see on the actual tests. This book/CD combo provides an excellent foundation for preparing to pass both exams but it should not be the only study reference you use unless you already have some solid experience in building and repairing computers as well as experience with various Windows operating systems. I would emphasize having experience with multiple Windows environments because this book dedicates 30% at most to the OS exam (302). The book also has added value as a good reference to keep in your library after you pass the exams. All in all, well done. It did help me pass both exams on the first attempt. 5 stars (great item) - shipped pretty quick and it was in awsome shape, been reading it and havent finished it yet but has some great detailed things, specially if you want to read and learn about microprocessors, great book to get certified i would say although i am in the proccess of getting certifed. always buy latest edition and you'll be good! well recomended.
